Google is hoping that algorithms can get you ready for a job interview, rather than reading standard guides or practicing with friends. The company has introduced an Interview Warmup application that uses artificial intelligence to assist you in preparing for interviews for various roles. The site asks standard questions (such as “tell me a bit about yourself”) and analyzes your vocal or written replies for areas for development. You’ll notice when you overuse specific terms, for example, or when you need to spend more time discussing a particular topic.
The majority of the role-specific questions in Interview Warmup are intended for Google Career Certificates users looking for a job. Moreover, there are standard interview questions, and Google intends to broaden the technology to assist more candidates. Currently, the function is only accessible in the United States.
AI is being utilized more and more in the recruitment process. However, it has mostly benefited employers during the selection process, rather than potential new recruits. This will not equal the playing field, but it may help you improve your interview skills.
