After several delays, the Analogue Pocket now has a firm release date. Analogue stated in an email to individuals who pre-ordered the portable console that the gadget will begin arriving on December 13th. It hopes to ship the majority of pre-orders before the end of the year.
If you anticipate that you will not be at home to receive your shipment during that period, Analogue suggests that you email it to request that your order be held. In that scenario, your Pocket should arrive around January 3rd. Finally, if you need to make any last-minute changes to your order, the deadline is November 28th.
Analogue has had a difficult time bringing the Pocket to market. When the company initially revealed the $199 handheld, which can play Game Boy, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and Atari Lynx games, it stated that it will be available in 2020. But it was before the pandemic, and supply chain concerns pushed Analogue, like many other electronics, to adapt.
