Microsoft’s software package, which comprises Office Home and Student 2021 and Office Home and Business 2021, will be upgraded on October 5th with the release of Windows 11. The cost of Office Home and Student, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Teams, is $150. Office Home and Business, which costs $250, adds Outlook to that list and provides the permission to use these apps for business purposes.

With this year’s release, several new capabilities from the Microsoft 365 subscription service, including as collaboration features like co-authoring and the ability to send out automated updates when files are modified, are finding their way to Office. Many of the applications have been redesigned as well, with rounded window corners and a neutral colour scheme. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, Project, Publisher, and Visio are among the programs getting a digital makeover. The new design will also be available to Windows 10 users.

Teams, the company’s video-chat software, will be included in Microsoft 365 and the Office packages. Teams is already included in Windows 11, but this change extends the software to Windows 10 and macOS as well.

Microsoft 365, the company’s top-tier all-inclusive offering, costs $70 per year or $7 per month, while the Family plan for up to six people costs $100 per year or $10 per month. It contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, OneDrive, Microsoft Editor, and Microsoft Family Safety for PC, Mac, and mobile, as well as Access and Publisher for PC.
