Google has some big news for Workspace individual plan subscribers. Users of the service, such as self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs, will soon receive a significant storage upgrade from 15GB to 1TB at no additional cost. Individual Workspace users will no longer have to worry about running out of storage space in Gmail and Drive.
Until now, Google has only provided Workspace individual users with the same amount of storage as a free Gmail account. You’d have to buy more storage through Google One to increase that capacity. Google claims that users will not have to do anything because their storage will be upgraded automatically.
There are more options for those who use the multi-send mode to send emails to multiple people. To personalize these email blasts, you’ll be able to use mail merge tags like @firstname. Even if the Workspace individual plan does not currently support custom email addresses, this could be useful. Google is also expanding its Workspace individual plan to the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece, and Argentina.
